Job Purpose
As our Director of Sales, you will play a key role in driving Keep Company's growth and accelerating our existing impact. For a creative sales leader who likes to win, this position offers a unique opportunity to help shape and build our sales engine from the ground up. Please note that this is a hybrid work environment with the expectation to work from our downtown Bethesda office 3-4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development: Source and close new business in professional services organizations, including law firms, consulting firms, and financial services companies, and white space markets. Identify and capture clients through cold calling, emails, and social selling, including in-person and remote meetings.
  • Pipeline Management: Keep data up to date in our CRM platform and report on activities, trends, pipeline health, and forecasts regularly.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Contribute to our go-to-market strategy, product vision, messaging, and sales processes. Identify and pursue new verticals.
  • Customer Success Support: Assist the employer client success team with renewals and upsell opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning, setting quota goals and plans to achieve them.
  • Brand Evangelism: Promote our brand awareness through content creation and active LinkedIn presence.
  • Value Proposition Articulation: Clearly articulate our value proposition to different stakeholders and build excitement around our offerings.
  • Industry Expertise: Become an expert in our quickly-growing industry with minimal guidance.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 8+ years in sales. Preference for experience selling into benefits, professional development and/or experience selling into professional services organizations - law firms, consulting firms, and financial services.
  • Track Record: Proven history of consistently achieving enterprise sales targets over $1m.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a challenger mentality. Specific experience effectively communicating and building relationships with C-suite level executives and decision makers.
  • Startup/Entrepreneurial Environment: Experience in an entrepreneurial environment, either selling a new product or working at a startup company. Ability to move fast and  find success in ambiguity. Strength in building processes and working with minimal infrastructure.
  • Consultative Sales: Experience in consultative sales and building client relationships.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.

Total Rewards
  • Base Salary: $115k-145k + uncapped commissions. OTE is ~$240k.
